MONOCRYL™ Monofilament Suture, Size 0-0, 36", Undyed, with CT needle is a synthetic absorbable suture made from poliglecaprone 25. It features a monofilament construction that provides smooth passage through tissue with minimal resistance. The undyed version is preferred in procedures where visibility is not a concern, reducing the presence of foreign material in the wound site.

This suture is equipped with a CT (Circle Taper) needle, ideal for soft tissue approximation. The taper point design allows for clean penetration without cutting, preserving tissue integrity and minimizing trauma. Monocryl offers less tissue drag compared to braided sutures and avoids the fraying associated with natural materials like chromic gut.

Common applications include gastrointestinal, bladder, subcuticular closures, reproductive tract repairs, and fascia or linea alba closure in young and healthy patients or animals.
